About My Free Ambulance
MyFreeAmbulance.com, a federally recognized non-profit 501(c)(3), and its choice network providers believe that requesting an ambulance should not mean having to worry about a bill, or worse. The Federal No Surprise Act of 2020 which took effect January 1, 2021 failed to regulate only one specific part of the medical industry – ground ambulances. This lack of oversight continues to leave patients unprotected from unfair ambulance billing practices and we don’t think that is right.
Seeing an opportunity to provide a meaningful impact to those in need, our team decided to leverage our more than 60 years of EMS business know-how to better serve communities and patients in need. Our path, to date, provides meaningful programs in preventative interventions for at-risk communities, improved continuum of care, and easy access to 24/7/365 ON DEMAND ambulance service provided with thoughtful concern to cost (as allowed by law).
